If you have already read Margaret’s report, you will know that I volunteered for the role as secretary on a temporary basis when Vinny decided to step down. I too would like to thank Vinny very much for helping me with the handover and going over and above (in my view) to ensure I had everything in place that I needed. Thank you also to all the other committee members who have been very supportive. I have never done anything like this before, indeed, I have never been anyone’s secretary!
Thankfully, as it has turned out, due to the pantomime that has still not played itself out fully, I have not had a great deal of secretarial duties to perform. Obviously, you are aware that I am forwarding emails on to all our members and I believe many of you have signed up and enjoyed the webinars that have been put on during this period.
At this point in time, there is no knowing when we can hold our AGM/meetings in the Llangadog Village Hall or resume the training for the beginners that we had to abandon in March last year.
I really hope we will all be able to meet again soon.
